Colliii.com: So its one year on since you were nominated for the Colliii Award with little Daisy, do you still have her, if not what has happened since then?

Sheri: Daisy was sold to a lovely repeat customer of mine in Iowa.

Colliii.com: How do you choose which doll to Reborn? 

Sheri: I choose the sculpts that touch my heart. The expressions are the most exciting part I look for. I'm attracted to open eyed sculpts the most.

Colliii.com: How did you get into Reborning dolls? 

Sheri: It was my daughter's 11th birthday, and she LOVES baby dolls. I was looking for a special one for her, that was very real. I stumbled upon a handful of reborns on ebay. I wanted one SO badly for her, but could not afford the prices. So I started emailing the reborners, asking questions and tips. I made my first reborn for my daughter, and she still has it 9 years later.

Colliii.com: Do you do custom orders for people too? 

Sheri: Yes, I do a small about of custom orders. Mostly for repeat customers only. I have my daughter Rachel, who is mentally challenged so I try to keep plenty of time for her.

Colliii.com: When making the dolls what things about the materials are important for you, quality,price etc?

Sheri: Quality is #1 for me. I would rather pay top dollar for materials, and be assured my customers have a well made reborn.

Colliii.com: Do you go to doll shows to present your work?

Sheri: I have not been to any doll shows yet. I would love to go soon, they look like so much fun. 

Collii.com: Where can people buy your dolls from? 

Sheri: Most of my dolls I sell on ebay. I also have a website that I occasionally list a doll on. www.dreambabiesheri.com

Colliii.com: What plans have you got for this year and the future?

Sheri: My only plan is to keep making reborns. It's an art that I Love so much! I have made so many friends through reborning, and have enjoyed it for many years now.
