Colliii.com has recieved an official statement from Jones Publishing, the organiser behind the EXPO Doll and Teddy Bear events, that for some time have been run in Washington DC USA.
This news will also be released in their "Dolls" magazine, but we are happy to have recieved it in advance.

The Doll & Teddy Bear EXPO which has been held at the Marriot Wardman Park Hotel in Washington will not be held in 2009. Resources allocated to the 2009 show will be combined with the 2010 The event is being transfered to a different location and as soon as we have the details of when and where, this will be posted here on Colliii.com

The Dolls Awards of Excellence competition or (DAE) will continue to run and the winners will be announced at the Modern Doll Collectors Convention, October 2009, in Albuquerque, N.M. "This is an opportunity to reach an audience that hasn't been exposed to us before," says Joe Jones, owner of Jones Publishing.
