Colliii.com: Congratulations again for your "Ariane". Why did you decide to enter this particular Reborn doll for the competition. How long did you need to get her ready for the competition? 

Claudine Colardi: Thanks!! I chose the kit from Adrie Stoete "Alexia" as I love all of her doll kits and I was doing that particular one just before the Colliii Awards registration started. After she was finished I gave her the name "Ariane". Little Ariana took about 10 or so to be finished.

Colliii.com: How did you react when you heard that "Ariane" was nominated for the finals. Did you count on coming so far?

Claudine Colardi: It was a big suprise I can tell you! A friend of mine told me that she had been nominated and I didnt believe her. But when I watched the "Nominations" episode of Colliii TV I was very excited and tense. Then when I heard her name I couldn´t believe it, it was a fantastic feeling!

Colliii.com: How has winning the 2 Colliii Awards affected you?

Claudine Colardi: I am very proud of my achievement...but I am still the same person! (LOL) I am really happy to have won, but it hasn´t changed much in my life. There were many wonderfull dolls that took part so it is even more special that I won. Thanks again to everyone that voted for my doll! I have had a lot of well wishers too, many people have commented in my blog and encouraged me to keep on doing my dolls, so that is also nice.

Colliii.com: What have you done with little "Ariana"?

Claudine Colardi: Ariana has been sold. She now lives with a doll collector in Switzerland. I got a wonderfull letter from the lady that bought her, here is a little quote from it:

" Hello Claudine,

at last little "Ariana" has arrived. I was really hoping that she would be as beautifull in real life as she was in the photos. I must say that I was a bit nervous as I have already had a very bad experience with a Reborn doll. As I opened the box I saw that she was perfect! Her hair is beautifull, her face,hands,fingers... its all perfect. You must have put so much work into her! I am so happy that Ariana is with me now, thank you!
