On Sunday April 11th 2010 the Doll Art exhibition DABIDA Day will be held for the fourth time. DABIDA is an organization for Dutch and Belgian Doll
Artists with 21 artist members. On the DABIDA Day they show their work, give demonstrations and advice novice doll makers.
There will be three new DABIDA members: Charles Stephan, Esther Verschoor and Kamilla Meesters.
New location: de Oude Steenfabriek in Gilze, situated in the south of The Netherlands, between Breda and Tilburg. The location is an old stone factory.
The former location unfortunately got too small to give room to so many great doll art and all day demonstrations.
The guest of honour this year will be Virginie Ropars from France.
For the second time there will be the possibility to send in a piece for the Annual Doll Award 2010. The theme is 'Balance'. The three pieces that will get the most votes from all DABIDA members will be on display during the DABIDA day.
